vocabbieLearn a language in a chat.
Short lessons that talk to you, one line at a time. Written courses in Finnish, Spanish, Croatian, German, French, Italian and Swedish, and 83 more languages in the same chat.

How a lesson works.
A few lines, then a question. Short enough for one bus ride.
Words on cards first
Before a lesson asks about a word, you meet it on a card: guess it, build it, check. The ones you fumble come back sooner.
Hear every word
Tap the speaker on any word or line and hear it, so you know how it sounds before you say it to someone.
Answers that explain
Answer the question and the reply under it says what the words meant and whether it worked. Miss one and you see the right one.
Your own words, too.
Beyond the courses, turn a topic, a textbook page or last night's notes into a deck of word cards.
Describe it
Type a topic like "pharmacy vocabulary in Finnish" and get a full deck in about 30 seconds.
Snap a photo
Point your camera at a textbook page. Vocabbie lifts the words straight onto cards.
Paste your notes
Drop in your own study notes and they become cards you can actually review.

Finnish, curated by hand.
I live in Finland and learned it the hard way. 96 lessons, written by hand, on the parts that stop people: why the word changed shape, and what the partitive is for.
- Every lesson ordered and curated by hand
- The culture behind it, not just word lists
- Cases, gradation and vowel harmony, finally explained
Built by someone who needed it.
I moved to Finland from Croatia nine years ago and tried every app to learn Finnish. Duolingo gave me a 200-day streak but I couldn't order coffee. Anki made me spend more time making cards than studying them. Every app told me I was wrong without telling me why.
So I built the app I wished existed. One that teaches in a conversation, explains every answer instead of just marking it, and lets you practise speaking without feeling judged.
